May 24, 2018 –
No one is better known in local history circles than our May 24 speaker Knute Berger. Berger has written extensively about local events for decades at The Weekly, Crosscut and Seattle Magazine. His list of books is also long including a history of the Space Needle published after a year as its historian in residence. Berger may be the only journalist to win the State of Washington's Preservationist of the Year award. With the Coliseum, the Space Needle and much of Seattle Center undergoing massive transformations over the next couple of years, there is no one better to share with us their meaning and importance.
Join us for our annual meeting, good company and lovely refreshments provided by Aegis Living.
