Seattle Center Art & Tree Tour with Robin Dearling

July 15 @ 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Those of us who live on Queen Anne are fortunate to have a wonderful, free resource — Seattle Center — available to us just minutes away.   Apart from all the great festivals going on throughout the year, a walk through the Center can be full of interesting things, among which are the wonderful trees and the public art.
To explore these treasures together, we will meet at 6:30pm Thursday July 15 on Mercer Street in front of Seattle Rep.  The tour will take approximately an hour and a half as we circle around the major areas of the park.
ROBIN DEARLING is a lover of many things.  She has been passionate about Art all her life.  Growing up in the New York area, she had access to some of the best museums in the world and visited them often.  She has lived in Seattle for almost fifty years and would never live anywhere else!  Robin became a docent at the Seattle Art Museum in 2006 and has led tours at all three sites.  One of her other passions is trees!  She studied with the Trees of Seattle program sponsored by Seattle City Light and became a “Tree Ambassador” several years ago.  So leading a tour with both trees and art is a natural for her!
