The Archives of the Queen Anne Historical Society hold documents, photographs, oral histories and other ephemera related to the history of our neighborhood. Nearly all our files have been digitized and are being made available electronically on Flickr and the Internet Archive thanks to the generous support of our community.

In 2017 following the move of the Society’s offices, the Society donated hard copies of its Archives to the Ames Library at Seattle Pacific University and disposed of all the materials unrelated to Queen Anne or duplicated in regional collections (e.g. the Museum of History and Industry, Special Collections of the University of Washington libraries, and those of local newspapers such as the Seattle Times, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer or the Queen Anne-Magnolia News). Exceptionally, the Society has retained hard copies of files related to neighborhood schools and tours of Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

You can learn more about our collections in the Collections Guide below. You can also find more information about our published book, Queen Anne: Community on the Hill, and where to find additional information about the neighborhood in other regional history collections.
