Do you love wordsmithing? Have a passion for life on Queen Anne and our community’s history? We are looking for a few more good writers to join our History Writers’ cadre. Extra points if you like to coordinate projects and are interested in chairing the team. The commitment is approximately 4-6 hours per month.

Are you passionate about protecting the historic fabric of our neighborhood? Do you have knowledge of 19th c. and 20th c. American architectural history? Do you have an understanding of or interest in historic preservation law?

Our Landmarks Preservation Committee seeks volunteers to assist identifying potential landmarks, seeking grants for the preparation of landmark nominations, most often to the city's Landmarks Preservation Board (LPB), and monitoring the LPB's activities in Queen Anne, existing landmarks, and real estate activity involving historic buildings in Upper and Lower Queen Anne.

Recent graduates of programs in architectural and/or art history, architecture, or preservation planning are especially welcome to apply.
