Austin P. Burwell House – 656 W Galer St

This house, designed by Daniel Huntington, was featured in the 1913 publication Homes and Gardens of the Pacific Coast, Volume I, along with many others in Queen Anne.

By 1923, Austin P. Burwell (son of Austin S. Burwell), Treasurer of Burwell & Morford Inc., had moved with his wife to an apartment at 2021 4th Avenue N.

The house still stands today, but it was significantly altered in 2006.
